Therapists contract with HearHear Counseling Services (HHCS) to receive sliding scale client referrals.
HearHear Counseling Services compensates mental health providers at a flat rate of $60/session. If a client’s sliding scale rate is less than $60, OGT will supplement. If a client’s sliding scale rate exceeds $60, the difference will be reinvested in HHCS in order to continue providing affordable counseling services.
HHCS acknowledges that many providers cannot offer a full caseload of sliding scale clients. Therapists have full autonomy over their HHCS caseload size and are able to state their preferred populations, specialties, etc.
Therapists use their preferred and existing documentation, telehealth platforms, etc. and will assume liability for clients as in a private practice setting.
For pre-licensed therapists, HHCS does not offer supervision at this time.
